Positive Behaviour Support Clinician

The ORS Positive Behaviour Support division is expanding and we are seeking a dedicated clinician to join our team. You will work with a national team of psychologists and counsellors providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Assess and observe participants challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation, and introducing replacement behaviours.
  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support plans and assessments to increase a person's quality of life.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, Allied Health, or Nursing.
  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner or the ability to become registered.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses.
  • A car and licence.
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
