Telecommunications Apprenticeship

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an apprentice in the telecommunications industry. This four-year apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in installing, recommissioning, and upgrading CCTV, alarm, and access control systems for major retailers, department stores, rail, prisons, and government departments.
The work is primarily based in the local area, and you will have the chance to visit various sites. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to become a qualified Security Installation Technician and earn your Certificate III in Data and Voice Communications.

- A passion for a career in a changing technological industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Previous experience or a Certificate II in Electrotechnology looked upon favourably
- Punctuality and reliability
- Elevating Work Platforms (EWP) ticket preferred but not essential
- Excellent safety awareness
- A current driver's licence, P Plate minimum
- A White Card
- Ability to successfully pass a Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen and a Police Check
