We are seeking a motivated Leisure and Recreation Specialist to join our team at Uniting Garden Suburb, an aged care home nestled in the serene Lake Macquarie region of NSW.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As a Leisure and Recreation Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering innovative leisure and lifestyle activities that cater to the unique needs, interests, and capabilities of our residents.

You will lead and guide a team of staff in planning and executing activity programs, ensuring resident participation and satisfaction. Your expertise will be crucial in developing engaging activities that promote socialisation, mental stimulation, and overall well-being.

• Plan and deliver leisure and lifestyle activities tailored to residents' needs and interests.
• Liaise with staff, residents, and carers to ensure seamless program execution.
• Evaluate activity effectiveness and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications.
• Prior experience in aged/community care or a related field (desired).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
