About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team at Borderless360. As an Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using Python and Django.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop efficient, reusable, and testable Python code for integration solutions
  • Develop application-to-application integrations, APIs, file transfers, and database queries using Python
  • Integrate Python code with other languages, frameworks, and specialized services
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend systems/technologies for integration needs
  • Develop technical designs, testing plans, and integration documentation
  • Ensure integration projects meet business requirements and end-user needs
  • Develop standards and processes to support integration initiatives
  • Integrate new interfaces, applications, and legacy systems
  • Perform data mapping and requirements analysis for system integrations
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical support for existing integrations
Requirements
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Python 3 and Python-based web frameworks (we use Django)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, ORM (e.g. Django, SQLAlchemy)
  • Experience with REST APIs and APIs in general
  • Ability to read and write technical documentation in English (At least level B1)
