Intrax is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Field Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting site explorations, drilling, and logging boreholes, as well as operating machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site explorations and drilling operations to gather data and samples.
  • Operate machinery and equipment, including ute-mounted augers and percussion tube samplers.
  • Take soil samples and log data in accordance with industry standards.
  • Produce site reports and feature surveys.
  • Assist with drafting and engineering tasks, as well as working with NATA-accredited lab teams.
  • Communicate effectively with internal staff and clients.
  • Organize daily tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or site experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Full driver's license.
  • 3.5t towing experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience or exposure to operating machinery, ideally ute-mounted drilling rigs.
  • Experience or interest in survey equipment, ideally Leica or similar (desirable but not essential).
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Industry White Card (essential).
  • Willingness to work outdoors.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
