About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Administrative Officer to join our Safety Department as a key member of the Corporate Safety & Wellbeing Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Safety & Wellbeing Advisor and the Corporate Safety & Wellbeing Team.
  • Assist in the coordination of safety training and awareness processes, including scheduling and data entry.
  • Prepare and disseminate general communications, such as emails and reports, in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the team's inbox and respond to queries and actions in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Schedule corporate training and follow up with employees to ensure timely completion.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of an E-Learning platform, including compliance checks and training content.
  • Coordinate end-of-month reporting across the team to ensure timely completion by sites and within the team.
Requirements
  • A recent Safety & Health Graduate or equivalent professional experience.
  • An interest in working in mining or heavy industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines and commitments.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
