About the Role:
AECOM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Cairns, supporting a diverse range of planning, design, and construction projects related to general civil and water/wastewater infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical excellence in design and develop project management skills
- Undertake design and study of civil infrastructure work on diverse projects, including coastal engineering paths, bikeways, and civil components of major developments
- Communicate and liaise with clients and authorities while delivering project drawings and reports
- Develop and nurture relationships within AECOM and the local industry
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and CPEng, RPEQ (or working towards)
- 4+ years' experience with project management and technical delivery of civil infrastructure projects, including coastal engineering works, footpaths, and civil components on major developments
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as 12D or Civil 3D in Civil Infrastructure projects
- Passion for delivering high-quality, technical work
- Experience working in an engineering consultancy will be an advantage
