Quality Control Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to monitor and set parameters for products and services, develop quality control procedures, perform audits, and oversee quality control to ensure that all equipment manufactured and assembled at the Production facility is right first time and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee quality control measures to achieve right first-time quality standards.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections of materials throughout manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance and investigating non-compliance issues where necessary.
  • Monitor production processes for simplicity and quality, identifying and documenting improvements as needed.
  • Develop and implement quality control audit plans in coordination with other departments.
  • Evaluate production stages and test the composition, appearance, and functionality of completed products.
  • Ensure team members adhere to the required quality standards through audits and work oversight.

About You:

  • Approximately 60% workshop-based and 40% office-based work.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience as a quality auditor.
  • Quality Auditor credentials (highly desirable but not essential).
  • Mechanical and/or Electrical trade qualification or experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Experience leading or participating in high-performing teams focused on continuous improvement.
