Job Summary

Talent Quarter PTY Ltd is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a specialist neurological organisation. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, and supporting clients with various neurological conditions, including MS, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, MND, and Acquired Brain Injury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess clients to determine suitable interventions and evaluations
  • Prescribe appropriate equipment and strategies to clients and families/carers along with relevant training and resources
  • Liaise with clients, carers, and other stakeholders regarding therapy and interventions
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive support to clients
  • Provide support to OT students, OT assistants, and volunteers, when necessary
  • Maintain a caseload and ensure that all client records are kept up-to-date

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current and full registration with AHPRA
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Current police clearance
  • Full Australian working rights
