About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Assurance Analyst to join our team at Forvis Mazars Asia. As a Senior Assurance Analyst, you will play a key role in executing audits in a timely manner, assisting with other matters and projects, and supervising assignments to ensure high-quality audit documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and Execution: Develop and implement audit plans in accordance with the Audit manual, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
  • Engagement Scoping and Objective Setting: Conduct thorough engagement scoping and objective setting, considering tests, clients, industry, risks, and controls.
  • Fieldwork and Documentation: Perform fieldwork in accordance with the Audit manual, ensuring adequate workpaper documentation and performance tests.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain ongoing communication with clients and stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates on progress and results.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that findings are communicated accurately, outstanding information requests are completed, and client relationships are strengthened.
Requirements
  • Relevant Qualifications: Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and CA/CPA qualification (or working towards completion).
  • Experience: Possess a minimum of three years of recent work experience as an Auditor in a public practice firm.
  • Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
