The Role

This position involves working as a Heavy Machinery Repair Professional in our Mount Isa facility's service department. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our state-of-the-art mobile equipment used in the mining and construction industries.

You will apply your knowledge and skills to maintain machine performance, contributing to the success of our customers' operations.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Carry out general mechanical duties, maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis work on all Sandvik Mining equipment.
  2. Perform mechanical maintenance duties as per maintenance plans while upholding the integrity of the equipment and ensuring safe operation is not compromised.
  3. Provide feedback for efficient maintenance planning improvements.
  4. Record keeping of parts usage, equipment monitoring, and time records.
  5. Adhere to all policies & procedures, especially EHS policies.
