Job Description

Role Overview

The Classroom Teacher position is a key role within the Schools (Government) organization, responsible for delivering high-quality education to students. As an Education Professional, you will be accountable for the effective delivery of educational programs and may assist in policy development and co-curricular activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Learning
    • Direct teaching of groups and individuals
    • Contributing to curriculum development and evaluation
  • Student Support
    • Participating in parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings
    • Undertaking non-teaching supervisory duties

Requirements

  • Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Qualified to teach in the specified curriculum areas
