About the Role

Our organization is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee our fraud investigation operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, sound judgement, strong customer focus, and the ability to engender respect and trust.

This role requires a high degree of expertise in leading investigations into potential unauthorized access and/or disclosure of information, as well as internal (Administrative and program) fraud and corruption. The successful applicant will work closely with other agencies to respond quickly to these threats and conduct fraud investigations in accordance with Commonwealth law.

The branch has specialized teams that are highly skilled in detecting and investigating fraud and related crime. A passion for new and emerging technologies and digital trends, along with an understanding of their impact on people and communities, is highly desirable.

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are highly beneficial. This position may be filled on an ongoing or non-ongoing (fixed term) appointment. A merit pool may be established to fill similar roles as they become available within an 18-month period.
