Job Description

The Senior ICT Engineer will play a key role in driving the growth and success of our Technology group by designing and implementing advanced ICT solutions for modern, smart projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ICT design support for offices and projects across Australia, focusing on active and passive systems, infrastructure, carrier connections, Audio-Visual services, and related ICT components.
  • Develop technical documents for planning, specifications, and drawings, as well as provide construction service support including testing and commissioning.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and participate in business development to support project delivery.
  • Support other Project Engineers to meet program deadlines, manage profitability, assess technical risk, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Assist clients and internal teams with technical queries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent in networking, computer science, cyber security, or related field.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to deliver bespoke solutions.
  • Experience in the design and delivery of Structured Cabling Systems; Backbone Fibre & Copper; MATV/IPTV Systems; DAS; ICN - Integrated Communications Network; IP telephony systems; Active networks; Wireless Design; Digital Signage; Large-scale AV Systems; Data Centres; Defence ICT design (preferred).
  • Knowledge of physical and cyber security systems is beneficial but not essential.
  • RCDD, CCNA or CISSP certifications are assets.
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (AS/NZS, IEC, ANSI/TIA, BICSI, IEEE, CSA, OBC, NBC).
  • Current AGSVA Baseline clearance, or ability to obtain (must be an Australian citizen).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, innovation based on customer and industry requirements, positive attitude, and ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
