The Role

This part-time cleaning position at Strathpine Centre requires a roster of Tuesday and Wednesday 5:30pm-1:00am and Thursday 5:00pm-9:00pm.

Salary will be paid according to the Cleaning Services Award 2020.

Key Requirements
  • Be well-presented and able to work independently
  • Prior commercial or retail cleaning experience preferred (training provided)
  • Understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques (or willingness to learn)
  • Cleaning Machinery experience preferred (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper)
  • Good knowledge of and commitment to safety practices
  • Physically fit to carry out standard duties and walk for lengthy periods
  • Good listening skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Verbal and written English communication skills required
  • Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays
  • Must have valid Australian work rights
