Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Academic Support Facilitator to join our collaborative team environment. The position is for five days a week, fixed term for the 2025 school year.

The successful applicant will have the capacity to:

  • Work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Foster effective relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Support students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students through implementing learning adjustments, in consultation with the classroom teacher and Student Wellbeing/Learning Diversity Leaders.
  • Support students with diverse needs within the classroom and through targeted intervention programs, based on student's social and academic needs and Personalised Learning Plans.
  • Maintain relevant records and communication books where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement learning plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need.
  • Develop and implement targeted interventions to address specific learning gaps.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure seamless transitions and progress monitoring.
