Role Overview:

At Sea World, you will thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment, becoming a vital member of our engineering team. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine safety inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and overhauling some of the most exciting equipment and attractions in Australia. You will not only work on iconic rides but also collaborate with various departments, including Marine Sciences, to create unforgettable experiences.
Daily Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-opening safety inspections
• Address equipment breakdowns promptly
• Participate in the rebuilding and repair of facilities
• Maintain marine animal life support systems and water quality infrastructure
• Ensure adherence to OHS procedures for safety
• Obtain necessary equipment licenses and training
• Complete daily tasks as directed by the Engineering Supervisor
• Propose enhancements to work procedures to improve safety and efficiency
Qualifications:
• Minimum of a mechanical engineering trade certificate; hydraulics experience is highly valued
• Availability to work on any day, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Reasonable fitness level to navigate ladders and stairs
• Valid C class driver's license
• Comfort with working at heights
• Current EWP license for operation over 11m or willingness to obtain
