We are seeking dedicated Care Workers to join our team in Metropolitan Adelaide. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable people to continue living their life, their way, in the comfort and safety of their own home.

Job Overview

Care Workers work closely with clients to provide person-centred care and support, ensuring they maintain independence and quality of life.

About This Role

  • Provide personal care, medication assistance, social support, respite care, shopping support, transport assistance, meal preparation, home-exercise programs, and occasional domestic assistance to clients.
  • Work with our multidisciplinary team to ensure physical and emotional needs of clients are met.
  • Build relationships with clients and their families, working together to ensure values, independence, and positivity are at the heart of your visit.
  • Offer empathetic support during difficult times.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Care, or Individual Support (Aged Care).
  • Be adaptable and flexible.
  • Have availability to work a minimum of three days per week.
  • Possess a current valid Driver's Licence recognised in South Australia and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
  • Have a minimum of 12 months experience with a passion for Community Care and supporting vulnerable people.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of the English language both verbally and written.

Benefits Package

  • $30.95 p/h (Casual) or $24.76 p/h (PPT) plus superannuation.
  • Shift loading of 50% on Saturday and 75% on Sunday.
  • Salary packaging - up to $18,550 tax-free per annum.
  • Travel allowance of $0.84 k/m.
