Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of landscape maintenance professionals in the Sutherland area. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and make a positive impact on our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a full-time team located in the Sutherland Shire
  • Organize and program tasks completed on site
  • Oversee team performance to ensure efficiency and quality are maintained
  • Liaise regularly with management to provide a high-quality service for clients
  • Ensure all works are completed safely
  • Work with the team to achieve targets
  • Manage a variety of landscapes onsite, focusing on parks and open spaces
  • Identify and treat plant deficiencies and/or pests and diseases
  • Complete associated documentation on a regular basis
  • Fully maintain company vehicle
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Horticulture industry
  • A qualification in Horticulture or equivalent is desirable but not essential if you have relevant experience
  • Experience operating and maintaining commercial landscape maintenance equipment
  • The ability to lead and motivate team members to work effectively together
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Current Chemcert certification is desirable or a willingness to obtain
  • The ability to adhere to company WH&S policies to ensure a safe and productive workplace
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality commercial maintenance services
