Geriatric Medicine Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the full scope of geriatric services including Acute, Subacute, Community, Outpatient and Interim Care.
- Manage complex behavioural patients, provide consultation services across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS), lead complex patient journey/discharge planning activities and participate in the Orthogeriatric service.
Mandatory qualification/s: Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist Physician – Geriatric Medicine with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in the specialty of Geriatric Medicine is required specialist qualification, however applicants with equivalent overseas qualifications assessed as substantially comparable by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians may also be considered.
