Job Title

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to fill the role of Care Worker in our Community Support Options Team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, respite, home care, and transport services to clients across various communities.

  • Personal Care: assisting people with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Respite: offering carers a break from their caring role by providing temporary support
  • Home Care: assisting with household chores and meal preparation
  • Transport: accompanying clients to appointments and shopping trips

About the Role:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to clients in their homes or community settings
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes for clients
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, families, and carers
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in aged care or disability support (Certificate III or equivalent)
  • Current First Aid certificate and CPR skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle insurance
  • Demonstrated experience in aged care or community sector (not essential, but desirable)
  • Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
