Delivery Operations Specialist

About the Role:

The primary focus of this position is to ensure seamless delivery operations, guaranteeing timely and accurate product distribution to our customers. This involves navigating through congested urban areas, adhering to a predetermined delivery schedule while maintaining a keen awareness of traffic patterns and potential delays.

Key Performance Indicators include ensuring that all deliveries are completed within the designated timeframe, with attention to detail regarding packaging, labeling, and contents verification. Furthermore, maintaining an organized and efficient workspace by tidying up after each delivery will be crucial in minimizing errors and optimizing productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute all aspects of delivery runs, strictly adhering to the Agreed Delivery Method (ADM) and Dock/warehouse duties as assigned.
  • Drive vehicles safely and efficiently, observing traffic regulations and road safety standards at all times.
  • Ensure accurate stock inventory management by verifying quantities against delivery documentation and communicating discrepancies promptly.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers through effective communication, empathy, and a customer-centric approach.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current QLD driving license with MR or HR endorsements.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver goods weighing up to 20kgs safely.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision, requiring self-motivation and organizational skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
