Financial Support Specialist

The Financial Support Specialist will be a skilled and organized individual joining the finance team.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting financial operations, including payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, financial record maintenance, and general office tasks.

  • Process and assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee payments and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial data.
  • Support the preparation and review of invoices, verify payment details, and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Update and maintain financial records, including invoices, bills, contracts, and expense reports.
  • Support office management tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, supporting project analysis, and completing ad hoc tasks as required by the finance manager or executive team.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-2 years experience in AP, AR, payroll, or a similar finance role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software.
  • Confident working autonomously and proactively solving problems.
  • A collaborative team player with a drive to support business operations.
