Special Education Teacher Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor tailored education plans for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Deliver differentiated instruction and accommodations to students with a range of learning disabilities and developmental delays.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure academic success.
  • Collaborate with educators, counsellors, and specialists to create and implement effective support strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least 1 full year of post-qualified classroom-based teaching experience working with students of variable special requirements.
  • Eligibility for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
