Labourer Spotter Job Description

We are seeking experienced civil labourers with "working safely near live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker" training competency to join our team at Workforce International Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical spotting for machinery
  • Assisting machine operators in site movements
  • Ensuring safe movements of machinery around electrical lines
  • General labouring duties as required
Requirements:
  • Hold a OHS Construction White Card
  • Hold up-to-date "Working safely near live electrical apparatus as non-electrical worker" training competency
  • Be able to pass a functional assessment which includes a drug and alcohol screen
  • Have reliable transport
  • Be reliable and display a great work ethic
  • Hold a high regard for safe work practices
Work Environment:

This role is based in Newcastle and involves working 5 nights per week with overtime as required. You will be working with a reputable company that provides services to a wide cross-section of public and private clients.

What We Offer:
  • $61.84-63.01/hour + daily travel allowance
  • Weekly pay cycles
  • Experienced spotters/civil applicants highly regarded
  • Traffic Control tickets highly regarded but not necessary
