The Role Summary

In this exciting role, you will be part of the Australian Client Servicing team, providing support for clients across both Asset Manager and Asset Owner client groups. You will work closely with the Relationship Manager to deliver exceptional client experiences.

You will be responsible for managing relationships with clients who take a variety of fund administration and custody services. Your primary goal will be to ensure overall client satisfaction by facilitating efforts of service teams, coordinating resources to ensure timely delivery and issue-resolution, and effectively communicating client concerns/needs across the organisation.

What You Will Do

  3. Develops a complete understanding of client's business, objectives, goals and market challenges
  4. Cultivates strong working relationships with client contacts
  5. Demonstrates ability to add value by anticipating possible solutions and partnering with client to implement
  6. Keeps client informed of emerging issues, products and services, regulatory/tax changes, and the general institutional trust environment, advising the client of the impact on the client's business and on our own services
  7. Cross-sells products/services and participates in development of solutions to client needs, coordinates presentations, brings in experts when appropriate, closes the sale, ensures smooth delivery of new services, and communicates emerging needs
  8. Manages client profitability, understands competitive environment, develops pricing strategies, and works with team to enhance profitability.
About You
  1. Knowledge of asset servicing and superannuation acquired through related experience
  2. Strong awareness of risk to both the client and Northern Trust
  3. Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills required to identify and resolve client issues
  4. Evidence of both technical and strategic thinking
  5. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with clients & internal partners
  6. Excellent communication skills- negotiation and influence and the ability to explain complex products/ process
  7. Proven experience in financial servicing, operations, superannuation with a client servicing background
