Job Title: Leading Hands and Skilled Civil Labourers

AWX Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Leading Hands and Skilled Civil Labourers to join their team for various projects across Brisbane and surrounding regions.

Job Summary:

We are looking for individuals with 3-5 years of experience in civil construction, who have experience in a similar role and leading a team. Plant operating experience is preferred. The successful candidates will be available to work Monday to Friday and weekends as needed, and have a current driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of Labourers and Operators on large civil construction projects.
  • Ensure site compliance with safe regulations and company policies, conducting regular site inspections and daily toolbox talks.
  • Meet deadlines and monitor progress, working closely with Project Managers and Management.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and resources as needed.
  • Train and mentor crew members to promote skills development.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' experience in civil construction.
  • Experience in a similar role and leading a team.
  • Plant operating experience preferred.
  • Available to work Monday to Friday and weekends as needed.
  • Current driver's license.
