Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide expert financial analysis and advice to business areas, ensuring that they are equipped to make informed decisions.
  • Process end-of-month and end-of-year journals, reviewing financial information to ensure correct treatment of costs.
  • Oversee the efficient delivery of financial services, including accounts payable and receivables, travel, and credit card services.
  • Develop and implement effective financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • A degree in accounting or a related field, with relevant qualifications such as CPA or CA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in government financial processes and procedures, with knowledge of financial software and administrative tasks.
