Intermediate Civil Engineer - Water

We are seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Adelaide. This role involves working on the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations and conveyance pipelines—particularly in the context of water utility projects.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for reviewing design requirements, site investigations, calculations, modelling, oversight of drafting, and preparing reports and specifications. You will also be required to build strong client relationships and demonstrate your understanding of their core business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a civil engineer with experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design. If you are passionate about working on complex infrastructure projects and have excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations and conveyance pipelines
  • Reviewing design requirements, site investigations, calculations, modelling, and preparing reports and specifications
  • Building strong client relationships and demonstrating understanding of their core business
  • Managing small to medium engineering design projects

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline, as well as minimum 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design. Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, operational practices, and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes is highly desirable.
