The Family Preservation and Reunification (FPR) Senior Practitioner will play a key leadership role in the FPR team, working closely with the FPR Practice Leader to drive high-quality practice and service development.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the leadership of the FPR team, providing informal and additional supervision, coaching, consultation, support, and training to staff and students.
- Develop and implement quality improvement practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children, young people, and families.
- Provide casework in the FPR team, utilizing expertise in assessment and clinical interventions, family-centered practice, and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the best interests of the child are prioritized, adhering to the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and related policies.
- Extensive experience and skills in assessment and clinical interventions, family-centered practice, and working with vulnerable children, young people, and families.
- Sound knowledge of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and policies related to child welfare and the Best Interests of the Child Practice Model.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, written, verbal, and computer skills.
- A valid and current Driver's Licence, Satisfactory Criminal History Check, Valid Employee Working with Children Check, and Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check.
