Workshop Service Leader

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading organization as a workshop leader, overseeing service repair work and providing guidance and proactive leadership skills.
- Lead a team of up to 20 workers in the repairs crew, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
Maintain high standards of quality and safety by championing Metso's safety culture to the team and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Team Leaders and/or Supervisors for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee all service repair work to ensure the highest quality of customer service.
- Complete planned, unplanned, and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that lifting and handling activities are regularly supervised within the workshop.
- Hold a Certificate III in Mechanical, Machinist or Fabrication (Trade Certificate).
- Experience in a leading hand position.
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Working knowledge of heavy equipment related to the crushing and screening industry.
- Time management skills are essential.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to train others, including providing required training and qualification of customer service personnel in classroom, hands-on and field environments.
- Trade qualified in either fabrication, machining, mechanical fitting or related field.
- Good leadership, initiative, communication, teamwork, managing for results, and coaching & mentoring.
