Job Title

The ideal candidate for this Salon Beauty Specialist role will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Perform various beauty treatments, including waxing, facials, and skin care services
  • - Deliver body treatments such as scrubs and relaxation massages
  • - Offer skincare consultations and recommend homecare products
  • - Provide nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and cuticle care
  • - Educate clients on nail health and aftercare

Nail Services:

  • - Create simple nail art designs (optional)

Client Experience:

  • - Greet clients with warmth and professionalism
  • - Tailor treatments to suit individual needs
  • - Build lasting relationships and encourage rebookings

Hygiene and Safety:

  • - Follow strict hygiene protocols for tools and equipment
  • - Keep work areas clean and sanitised
  • - Comply with Australian health and safety standards

Team & Salon Support:

  • - Assist with general salon upkeep
  • - Refill stock and prep stations as needed
  • - Promote services, specials, and retail items
  • - Help with reception duties like scheduling and payments

Requirements:

  • - Certificate III or IV in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent)
  • - Minimum 2 years of experience in a salon environment
  • - Nail treatment experience is highly regarded
  • - Knowledge of skincare, product use, and treatment protocols
  • - Strong communication and customer service skills
  • - High attention to detail and a team player
  • - Fluent English (spoken and written)
