About the Role: The Medical Workforce Unit is seeking applications from motivated and experienced Business Partners to join the Senior Medical Workforce at Northern Health. The unit is responsible for medical workforce planning and recruitment of senior medical staff across the health service.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Director of Medical Workforce and other stakeholders to ensure administrative aspects of recruitment, credentialing, and reappointment are completed proactively. They will assist doctors with queries regarding Continuing Medical Education claims, gain an understanding of operational requirements for clinical units, and provide support for senior medical staffing.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in office administration within a complex environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, and high-level interpersonal skills. Previous experience in staffing recruitment and appointment processes or payroll, finance, or billing for medical specialists would be highly regarded.
The role involves working autonomously with Clinical Leadership and prioritizing tasks effectively. You will also be required to multitask, maintain accurate records, and keep relevant databases up to date.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of Medical Workforce and other stakeholders to ensure administrative aspects of recruitment, credentialing, and reappointment are completed proactively.
- Assist doctors with queries regarding Continuing Medical Education claims.
- Gain an understanding of operational requirements for clinical units to provide support for senior medical staffing.
