Senior Civil Infrastructure Design SpecialistA career-defining opportunity is available for a skilled Senior Civil Infrastructure Design Specialist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions for road and highway projects.
- This role requires a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, strong technical expertise, and exceptional design management skills to ensure compliance with Main Roads WA standards, guidelines, and specifications.
- Civil Engineering Solutions:
- Develop and review comprehensive road and highway designs, encompassing geometric alignment, pavement, drainage, and earthworks using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or 12D.
- Evaluate and validate designs to guarantee adherence to MRWA standards and specifications throughout project execution.
- Project Delivery:
- Collaborate closely with project managers, structural engineers, and other team members to deliver integrated solutions for major highway projects.
- Assist in preparing project plans, technical specifications, and tender documentation.
- Technical Analysis:
- Conduct detailed engineering calculations and analysis for roadworks, intersections, and other civil infrastructure elements.
- Perform feasibility studies and provide innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Sustainability and Innovation:
- Incorporate sustainable engineering practices into designs to minimize environmental impact and optimize resource efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 5-12 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on road and highway projects.
- Proven experience working on projects with Main Roads WA or similar transport authorities.
- Proficiency in road design software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or 12D.
- Strong knowledge of MRWA standards, guidelines, and engineering practices.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
