Lead Retail Team Member

Our first physical store in Melbourne CBD is opening its doors, and we are seeking a skilled team leader to join our dynamic retail team.

About the Role

As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations. You will lead and motivate your team to ensure exceptional customer experiences and assist in the smooth execution of store operations.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader who has:

  • At least one year of experience in retail management or supervisory roles, preferably in the beauty industry
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills to guide a team
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally
  • Knowledge of inventory management, stocktake processes, and merchandising
  • A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work weekends, late-night trading, and public holidays as required

You will be responsible for:

  1. Assisting the Store Manager in leading the team to meet sales targets and performance metrics
  2. Supporting the hiring, training, and development of new team members
  3. Helping to manage store operations, including inventory control, visual merchandising, and stock management
  4. Ensuring a high standard of customer service, addressing any issues promptly and professionally
  5. Maintaining store presentation and ensuring compliance with visual merchandising standards
  6. Providing input on store performance and areas for improvement
  7. Stepping in for the Store Manager as required and ensuring the team remains motivated and productive
  8. Assisting with store opening and closing procedures, ensuring a secure environment
