Senior Water Management Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Water Management Engineer to lead our water management projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in drainage, hydrology, and flood risk management.

  • Leverage your expertise in hydrology and drainage engineering to design and deliver complex water management solutions for major infrastructure projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality outputs and innovative design outcomes.
  • Develop and implement flood risk assessments, catchment analysis, and stormwater management strategies in accordance with Australian Standards and Austroads guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to manage project deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design practices, digital engineering integration, and the adoption of BIM technologies within hydrology and drainage projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in hydrology, drainage, and water management for major infrastructure projects in Australia.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, Austroads guidelines, and relevant local authority requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in flood risk assessment, drainage design, and water catchment analysis.
