About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Transportation Services Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for managing transport operations to ensure Safety, Customer, and Commercial outcomes are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport Operations Management: Manage transport operations within regulatory expectations to ensure efficient provision of ongoing service.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure Safety and Compliance within the in-house transport group, following NHVR regulations.
  • Transport Functions Execution: Manage the execution of transport functions for all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Customer Deliveries Planning: Plan and oversee customer deliveries to ensure we meet service level agreements.
  • Invoicing Accuracy: Ensure invoicing accuracy from a Transport perspective for Receivables and Payables.
  • TMS Super User: Act as the super user for the TMS and key point of contact within the Transport team for the implementation project.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, and coaching for all direct reports.
  • New Team Member Onboarding: Manage the onboarding of all new team members along with ensuring all ongoing training requirements are met for current team.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Experience in Transport-Related Role: 5+ years' experience in a transport-related role.
  • Frontline Workers Management: Notable experience managing frontline workers desired.
  • Transport Management Systems Experience: Experience with Transport Management systems.
  • Container Transport Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of Container Transport industry.
  • Chain of Responsibility Understanding: Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility.
  • Container Chain Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Container Chain and 1-Stop would be advantageous.
  • Team Oversight: Ability to oversee a team to deliver outcomes in line with business requirements and expectations.
