As a Porter, you will play a dynamic and guest-focused role that goes far beyond handling luggage. From offering a warm welcome to assisting with arrivals, departures, and personalized recommendations, you will help create a seamless and memorable experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival
  • Assisting with luggage, directions, and general guest inquiries
  • Providing valet parking services, driving both automatic and manual vehicles
  • Offering local knowledge and concierge-style recommendations
  • Maintaining the presentation of lobby and entrance areas
  • Collaborating with the Front Office team to ensure smooth guest journeys

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Australian driver's license
  • Confidence in driving both automatic and manual vehicles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
  • Physical capability to assist with manually handling luggage, and stand for extended periods
  • Availability for rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays
  • The ability to legally work in Australia on an ongoing basis
  • Experience in a fast-paced, 5-star hotel in a similar role
