We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Technology Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering excellence in digital learning, promoting student agency and engagement, and collaborating with colleagues to drive innovation and improvement.
About the RoleThis is a full-time teaching position that involves teaching Digital Technology to students aged 7-10. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contemporary digital and technology education, excellent pedagogical skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student agency and engagement
- Promote student-centered learning through innovative and effective pedagogy
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of all students
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and achievement
- Develop and implement assessments that measure student learning and inform teaching practices
- A Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent qualification
- A valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Experience in teaching Digital Technology to students aged 7-10
- A proven track record of improving student outcomes and achieving academic success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
