The Role

This is a compelling opportunity for a Security Project Coordinator aiming to advance their career by engaging in a range of notable Defence and nuclear-related initiatives. The position involves facilitating project execution in a coordination and security oversight role, aiding in the planning and pursuit of new opportunities while providing general support to the operational aspects of the business unit.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Oversee proposal development activities in collaboration with Sales and administrative support personnel; Create and uphold security protocols and project security management strategies for Personnel, Physical, and Information Security that comply with KBR policies, governmental, and contractual obligations; Promote a positive security culture and awareness within the organization; Offer guidance and interpretation to project teams regarding essential government frameworks such as the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Information Security Manual (ISM), and Defence Security Protective Framework (DSPF); Manage security clearances, briefings, and reporting obligations in accordance with Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) membership and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR); Assist with tender submissions, including drafting technical documentation, coordinating document production, and maintaining registers for upcoming project management and design service pursuits; Conduct security risk assessments and provide advisory support; Plan, coordinate, and facilitate internal and project workshops and other engagements;

Who Are You?

The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of experience working with or for the Department of Defence, with familiarity in Defence Contracts, Project Management, Security, and governmental approval processes. The candidate must hold or be eligible for a NV1 security clearance and have completed Defence Industry Security Officer training.
