Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Driver to join our team at Visy. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating company vehicles, ensuring timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, while maintaining adherence to schedules.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

As a Logistics Driver with Visy, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Operating company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
2. Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
3. Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
4. Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
5. Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
6. Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

1. A valid HC Licence with minimum of 2 years' recent Australian driving experience.
2. Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
3. Sound knowledge of the regional areas or interstate routes.
4. Ability to provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
5. Completion of Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
6. Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
7. A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
8. Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
