About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and quality-oriented Machinist to join our team in Hazelmere. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing Caterpillar and Komatsu earthmoving components and related products at high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain Caterpillar and Komatsu earthmoving components and related products
  • Operate CNC Lathes, Manual Lathes, Milling Machines, CNC Vertical Machining Centre, Vertical and Horizontal Borer; and other CNC equipment
  • Work on a 4:3 or 5:2 Day & Night Shift Roster
  • Meet all site access requirements, including completing a Full Pre-Employment Medical and National Police Clearance
Requirements
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
  • Ability to work Night Shift
  • Experience in Caterpillar and Komatsu machine component repair and maintenance
  • Previous experience operating an Okuma
  • Good written and oral communication with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation
  • Confidently interpret Engineering Drawings
  • Valid Forklift license and Dogging Tickets
  • Valid Australian Working Rights
