Mapping Specialist

The Mapping Specialist role involves utilizing a specialized application to chart indoor locations, allowing individuals to navigate effortlessly within buildings. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated and enthusiastic professionals who enjoy working with mobile apps and are interested in implementing a system that will revolutionize the way we experience indoors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect a kit from a nearby UPS/FedEx point or contact person.
  • Participate in a 30-minute online training session prior to the site visit.
  • Record surroundings using a provided Mapping iPhone by walking up and down aisles to cover all walkable areas.
  • Maintain regular communication with Oriient's remote call-centre via Google Meet throughout the process for support and instructions.
  • Ensure the phone and power bank are fully charged at the end of each day.
Requirements:
  • A keen sense of direction and spatial awareness.
  • Patience and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be on one's feet for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills, self-motivation, and independence.
  • Comfort with remote guidance and ongoing communication with an operator.
  • Current valid driver's license and vehicle required.
