Director of Children's Services Opportunity

This exceptional leadership role offers a chance to shape the direction and operations of an established, community-focused out-of-school-hours care (OSHC) service.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in leading teams in OSHC or Early Childhood Education settings, with a strong emphasis on compliance, staff management, and systems. They will be skilled at guiding others toward shared goals, communicating effectively with educators, families, and committees, and promoting child safety principles.

  • This position involves overseeing daily operations, HR matters, family engagement, and rostering, working collaboratively with an experienced Admin Manager and Coordinator.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement by refining processes and supporting team culture, collaborating closely with a supportive parent committee.

The OSHC service has a long-standing reputation and strong ties to its local community, backed by a collaborative, hands-on parent committee that listens, supports, and works together, not micromanages.
