About the Role: We're seeking an experienced leader to manage a cluster of children's services in Townsville and Mackay, North Queensland. As a Children's Services Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality outcomes for children and young people while effectively managing and leading services. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership capabilities, comprehensive knowledge of human rights, and trauma-informed principles.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in a middle management role or a suitably qualified disability services professional with a minimum of five years' direct experience in disability services. Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Child Youth & Family/ Community Services or equivalent/higher, are also required. Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and listening, are essential for this role.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
  • Leading a team of Children's Services Leaders and Support Workers.
  • Managing a cluster of children's services including OOHC, in-home supports, and NDIS funded supports.
  • Delivering high-quality outcomes for children and young people.
  • SUPPORTING THE EXPANSION OF SERVICES IN THE REGION.
