Heavy Diesel Mechanic Position

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working on heavy machinery and wants to be part of a dynamic team.


About the Role

The successful candidate will perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of large-scale mining equipment as directed in accordance with standard procedures. The role involves completing general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component change outs to a high standard.

  • Perform regular servicing and maintenance of mining equipment
  • Complete repairs and breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Source technical information from relevant manuals and computer-based systems
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times
  • Conduct inspections to maximize equipment utilization and reliability

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Certification III in Heavy Diesel Fitting or equivalent
  • Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry
  • Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs, and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
