Electrical Engineering Lead Position

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Lead to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. As part of our High Voltage (HV) Primary Electrical Engineering initiatives across Transmission and Distribution within the APAC region, you will be working with engineering teams and our Global Community of Practice to drive innovation and career development.
Main Responsibilities- Lead primary design and design review for distribution and transmission substations (22kV to 500kV).
- Develop critical engineering deliverables including substation layout design, single line diagrams and sections.
- Oversee projects ensuring timely delivery.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent in Substation Engineering.
- Collaborate across disciplines (Civil, Structural and Secondary Systems) to ensure project success.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients.
- Extensive expertise in HV Primary Electrical Engineering.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD).
- Proven leadership experience providing technical direction.
- Strong business development and client relationship skills.
- In-depth knowledge of current industry developments and standards.
