Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and effective nursing care to patients in rural and emergency settings.
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems for accurate patient documentation and information management.
  • Collaborate with medical and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in rural nursing and emergency care.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Current AHPRA registration and Australian National Police Check.
  • Australian Immunisation History.

  • Online induction training.
  • Any other training as requested by the healthcare service.
