Join Our Team as a Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Worker to join our team at Life Without Barriers. As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

About the Role

This is a casual position, working with children and young people in a variety of settings. You will be responsible for providing support and guidance to help them develop life skills, build relationships, and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Form and maintain professional relationships with children and young people, building trust and engagement.
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting positive relationships and life skills.
  • Support family involvement and facilitate connections between children and young people and their families.
  • Promote positive relationships with peers and other significant individuals in the child's life.
  • Assist children and young people in making decisions about their activities and goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A relevant qualification (minimum Certificate 4) or be actively enrolled in one.
  • An unrestricted driver's license.
  • A valid Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
