OSH Club Coordinator

About the Opportunity

We have an exciting part-time Coordinator opportunity leading our BRAND NEW Outside School Hours Care service, Helping Hands St Helens State School in Maryborough.

This is a 35 hour per week permanent part-time role offering 6 non-contact administration hours. You will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 8:45am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program).

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Develop and facilitate engaging child-centered programs full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into.
  
• Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
  
• Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
  
• Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.
  

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state-specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

Requirements

• 
  
• Experience leading a team.
  
• Strong and clear communication skills.
  
• Team player with a desire to become a service leader.
  
• Australian work rights.
  
• Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children.
  
• Qualified or enrolled in a Diploma or Higher qualification in Education, Childcare, Humanities, Allied Health, Sport, Drama or similar.
